LG Optimus One And The Android Smart Features – Tips And Tricks
The ability of cell phones to do so much more than simply call people is showcased with the LG Optimus One. Not long ago the original version of this phone, called the Optimus, was created and released. To increase its overall speed, Google added a 600 MHz processor within the smartphone which was a dramatic improvement. Video capabilities are among the standard technological components of this particular smartphone. You are limited to daytime photos, however, because this camera is not flash capable. This smartphone also does not come with a high resolution display which can be found in other cell phones.
Like so many other cell and smart phones, the Optimus One has an integrated camera. The LG Optimus comes with a 3 mega pixel resolution camera that gives solid photos that look acceptable. Taking pictures in a dim light or at night will not be an option due to the lack of flash. If LG omitted the flash, you can be sure they did it in favor of something else. Part of those design issues are perhaps why the Optimus One is lacking in basic image stabilization. So be sure to remember that anytime you are using a phone camera.
The type of browser used in cell and smart phones must be higher quality because so much depends on it. This browser is adequate and gets the job done, and just as a note you can see higher performing browsers on other phones. Interestingly, this browser can be easily zoomed in by simply using a pinching action. Another cool feature of this is after you are done zooming, the software will perform a resizing operation so you can easily read the text. If you have a habit of surfing sites that use a lot of flash, then you may run into some problems here. You can measurably see how it will slow down on these types of sites.
You can interface with Google’s Android Market to take advantage of roughly 70K apps. Yes, we know how popular apps are, and we like them ourselves. The Android Market plus the App Advisor are required if you desire to put any of the apps to use. If you do not want to pay for a higher end model phone, then the LG Optimus One phone could be something for you to check out.
