As well as bananas, the grounds are full of other interesting plants including 1,400 species of cacti, exotic fruits such as mango and papaya and more interesting plants such as cotton, tobacco, peanuts and sugar cane.
Take home a selection of souvenirs from the vast gift shop to remind you of your fun Tenerife holidays for years to come. You should take the opportunity to buy some of the national flowers of the Canary Islands, the strelitza flower, as well as a bounty of banana-related products.
