Your CV needs a good covering letter to go with it when you are applying for a job. Once you have found a vacancy that catched your fancy, you can start writing a covering letter for it. Read the job description and requirements carefully in the job ad. You need to write a covering letter that tells the employer about yourself and why you feel you are a good candidate for the job. Be sure to mention what you believe makes you stand out as the best candidate for the job. Check that you have not made spelling mistakes.

Then submit your application and hold thumbs for an interview. When you go for an interview dress your best and try to be confident, but not arrogant.
