Many people think that it is a very hard thing to do, that it would take a lot of money to achieve it or you will have to make drastic changes in your life. But you know what? Those are lies. If you ask 10 people what would make them happy, as in completely happy, chances are you would get 10 different answers. I believe that is human nature; that different people have different sources of happiness. It can be all about money or the process of accumulating it. It can be about being famous and idolized by the masses. It can also be about getting a high position in the government in the company. But that is the wrong way to look for happiness.

There are also instances, actually this is quite common, that people find it very hard to be happy because they are not happy with how they look. When they stand in front of a mirror what they see is a very fat person or an ugly face. But the thing is, and many people will agree with this, it is all just a matter of having the right attitude or perspective. So what if you are fat? Surely you have other traits that people can focus on and learn to love you for those traits. And it is not like you can not go on a diet and eventually reach your ideal weight. Simply said it means there are things you can do to ensure your happiness.

If you want to be happy because you have been feeling very down lately, then grab your phone and call a friend. Often a small talk over the phone is all you need to get you feeling well again. That is what having a friend can do to your life. Friends will always be there when you need them. You can ask them to join you for dinner or watch a movie with you or simply to hang around and discuss the things that are making you feel sad. They can help you to find work life balance today.

Do a good thing. Help someone who is in need. By doing good deeds you will be feeling better just with the thought that you made someone else happy. You can try volunteering for charitable organizations and see where it would lead you.
